About IfPZ
Independent Certification Organization
The Institute for Care Service Certification (IfPZ) is a fully independent private organization and not a government institution. We operate as an autonomous quality assurance institute with the goal of improving care quality in Germany and internationally through our specialized certification procedures.
Our autonomy enables us to develop and enforce objective and internationally recognized standards without being influenced by government regulations or political interests. This independence is the foundation for our integrity and the reliability of our certificates.
Scientific Foundation
Our certification processes are based on the proprietary IfPZ Quality Framework™, a scientifically based assessment system developed in collaboration with leading experts from nursing science, medicine, and quality management. This framework is continuously evaluated and further developed by our scientific advisory board.
IfPZ was founded in 2012 and has since certified over 3,500 care facilities across Europe. Our expertise and evidence-based approach make us a trusted partner for care facilities, insurance companies, patients, and their relatives.
